More than twenty years ago, the Lord planted a vision in my heart through Isaiah 61:1–5—a vision to establish a ministry that would proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ and bring healing, hope, restoration, and beauty from brokenness. What began as a calling to minister to women has grown into Beauty For Ashes Ministries Global, a Christ-centered ministry dedicated to equipping disciples, developing servant leaders, and raising Kingdom heirs for the glory of God.
While serving as the owner and operator of a beauty salon, I discovered that God often transforms ordinary places into sacred spaces. The salon became more than a business—it became a place of prayer, encouragement, mentoring, and ministry. There, I witnessed firsthand the power of God's love to restore confidence, renew hope, and transform lives from the inside out.
As the ministry continued to grow, God expanded the vision beyond the salon into conferences, Bible studies, mentorship programs, leadership development, community outreach, and discipleship. Today, Beauty For Ashes Ministries Global serves as The Father's House—a place where people are welcomed, restored, equipped, and commissioned to faithfully fulfill their God-given purpose.
The ministry continues to stand firmly upon the promise of Isaiah 61:1–5, believing that Christ still heals the brokenhearted, proclaims liberty to the captives, comforts those who mourn, and raises up those who will rebuild, restore, and renew generations.
Our prayer is that every person who encounters this ministry will experience the transforming Presence of God, discover their Kingdom identity, and faithfully pass the inheritance of faith to future generations.
For more than three decades, God has graciously allowed me to serve in ministry, the marketplace, and the community, demonstrating the love of Jesus Christ through compassionate outreach, leadership, discipleship, and practical acts of service.
My professional journey began as a licensed cosmetologist, where I discovered that the salon was more than a place of beauty—it was a place of ministry. There, I had the privilege of serving individuals, mentoring women, and partnering with churches and community organizations to provide food and clothing drives, beauty makeovers, and encouragement for women preparing to re-enter the workforce, return to school, or begin a new chapter in life.
Throughout the years, God expanded those opportunities into community outreach and collaborative ministry. In Baltimore, Maryland, I partnered with Catholic Charities, serving the Sisters to Sisters Homeless Shelter, where I provided meals, fellowship, workshops, and encouragement to women rebuilding their lives. I also partnered with the Night of Peace Shelter in Windsor Mill, Maryland, ministering to women and children through meals, creative activities, and the sharing of God's love.
My heart for service has opened doors to minister in youth group homes, assisted living communities, nursing homes, correctional facilities, senior living residences, community feeding programs, and numerous outreach initiatives. Whether serving a meal, offering encouragement, teaching God's Word, or simply listening with compassion, I have witnessed the transforming power of Christ at work in the lives of His people.
Through Beauty For Ashes Ministries Global, I have continued that mission by hosting conferences, leadership gatherings, community luncheons, workshops, and outreach events that combine biblical teaching with practical resources to strengthen individuals, families, and communities. From fashion shows and dramatic presentations to life-changing conferences and discipleship experiences, every gathering has been designed with one purpose—to glorify Jesus Christ and lead people into a deeper relationship with Him.
Today, that same passion continues through Beauty For Ashes Ministries Global, where I remain committed to restoring hope, equipping disciples, developing servant leaders, and raising Kingdom heirs who will faithfully pass the inheritance of faith to future generations.
For more than two decades, God has faithfully guided my journey of ministry, leadership, discipleship, and service. It has been my privilege to serve the Body of Christ in various capacities, including as Interim Pastor of Ekklesia Community Ministries from 2014–2016. Throughout every season, one assignment has remained constant—to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ, teach God's Word with clarity, and encourage His people to walk confidently in their God-given calling.
As the Lord has expanded my ministry, He has continued to impress upon my heart the biblical mandate found in Titus 2:3–5—that mature women are to teach, mentor, and encourage the next generation of women in faith and godly living. From that calling, S.O.A.R. (Sisters Operating According to Righteousness) was born as one of the ministry expressions of Beauty For Ashes Ministries Global.
Righteousness is more than right behavior—it is living in right relationship with God through Jesus Christ. As Scripture reminds us:
"For the kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking, but of righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Ghost."
Romans 14:17 (KJV)
Through biblical teaching, mentorship, prayer, and authentic Christian community, I have watched countless women discover their identity in Christ, embrace their God-given purpose, and grow in wisdom, wholeness, and spiritual maturity.
Today, that assignment continues through Beauty For Ashes Ministries Global, where women and men are invited into the Father's House to be restored, equipped, and commissioned for Kingdom service.
I believe every believer has been created with divine purpose. My passion is to help God's people encounter His Presence, understand His Word, and faithfully fulfill the calling He has placed upon their lives.
Because when we know whose we are, we can confidently become who He has called us to be.
