Grace and Peace be unto you, Women of God. Welcome to Beauty for Ashes Ministries Bible Study. I am apostle Linda Wilder, and I am delighted you could join our S.O.A.R Bible Study, Mentorship, and fellowship. As women, our schedules are pretty busy. That’s why I am glad that this time has been carved out of the week to come together to invoke the very presence of the Holy Spirit as we become enriched, educated, enlightened, enhanced, encouraged, and empowered by the Word of God.
Beauty for Ashes Ministries is founded on the passage of Scripture found in Isaiah 61:1-7, some twenty years ago. God gave me the vision to form a ministry unto Him to empower women to wholeness. Our mission is one of healing, deliverance, and restoration. At the inception of Beauty for Ashes Ministries, I was a Beauty Salon Owner and operator.

Over 30 Years in Ministry, Marketplace, and Business, in Community Outreach.
As a Cosmetologist, I have served with individuals, teams, and ministries spearheading food and clothing drives and beauty makeovers for women who could not otherwise afford to come into the salon for beauty services. Preparing them for the job market and returning to school and college.
During my tenure, I partnered with Catholic Charities in Baltimore, Maryland, making regular visits to the Sisters to Sisters homeless shelter providing meals, fellowship, and workshops. In addition, I partnered with the Night of Peace Shelter for women and children in Windsor Mill, Maryland. I helped serve meals and held arts and crafts activities for mothers and their children. My love for God and His people has given me opportunities throughout many communities. Apropos, youth group homes, assisted living, nursing homes, prison ministry, senior living residences, serving meals, and sharing the gospel in various places touching the lives of God’s people.
Beauty for Ashes Ministries has held luncheons, incorporating skits and fashion shows to empower the community with holistic information while spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We also held Beauty for Ashe's conferences for women, which were very powerful as we experienced life-changing teachings and the anointing of God falling upon us.

My Tenure
I have had the privilege of serving as Interim Pastor at Ekklesia Community Ministries from 2014-2016.
This season, God is saying to me, mentor the women. He says older women teach the younger women how to SOAR, meaning Sisters Operating According to Righteousness. As Kingdom women, we must operate in righteousness.
What is Righteousness? Righteousness is literally "right standing with God. Romans 14:17-18 (N.I.V.) declares, "For the kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking, but of righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit, 18 because anyone who serves Christ in this way is pleasing to God and approved by men."
In our Bible study meetings, we will delve deep into God's words to His women. We want to understand what God was saying and what He is saying now. We are open to what God's word says for our future as women of God. We will study what God has said concerning His creation and purpose for creating women and our assignments as we endeavor to bring Glory and honor to His name. Together, as we dig deeper into God's Word and free ourselves of the misnomers, lies, and misinterpretations heralded at us by the devil, we will maximize our potential and fulfill the callings upon our lives.
So, let us gather together on Thursday Evenings at 7:00 pm on the Zoom platform and by teleconference for this Bible study. I encourage you to come with expectations of learning something new, building sisterhood, and becoming a significant part of the "SOAR" mentorship program. My sisters, You are Women of Wisdom, Women of Wealth, Women of Wholeness, Women of Wellness, Women of the Well, Women of Watching and Waiting, and Women of Worth. God has fearfully and wonderfully made you in His image. He has saved you, selected you, kept you, strengthened you, settled you, established you, comforted you, and empowered you.
God has given you purpose, potential, and power. So, my sisters, join us as we lift the name of Jesus. As women who "SOAR," our mission is to share and encourage each other and other women to become women who "SOAR" and understand their Worth in G.O.D. Sisters will strive to become all who The Lord is CALLING them to be. Beloved, I pray that our time of worship, praise, and study will bless you beyond measure.
